Workshop Leaders
We are seeking a variety of workshop and community enrichment program leaders who are passionate about the community, sharing their skill or craft with others, and need flexible work hours. Our workshop leaders can commit to one time per year, per month, per week, or whatever works best for their schedule. No need for art credentials (unless you have one!) - we are glad to hire anyone who has a skillset to share and a following that wants to learn!
Painting
Love to paint? Teach others the techniques and process to boost their confidence and skillset.
Crochet
Share the peace and joy of making with crochet. Others are eager to learn!
Stained Glass
Working with stained glass requires a specialized skillset and tools. Come teach your craft!
Calligraphy
Both traditional and modern calligraphy are lovely art forms you can share with others!
Mommy & Me
Help moms and their babies bond, learn about each other, socialize, and discover.
Clay
Do you like clay, pottery, or ceramics? Teach others how to create and decorate with air dry clay.
Macramé
Macramé is a fun, popular way to decorate with a more boho style. Teach a class in this artform.
Mosaic
Crushed glass, broken tile... let's show others how to create beauty out of brokenness.
Music Education
Teach children how to play, interact, and discover through music and rhythm.
Parenting Support
Have a skill or concept you think parents need support with? Come lead and share!
Jewelry
Are you gifted at making jewelry and beading? Show others how to make their next fave piece.
Knitting
Knitting is making a come back, or perhaps it never left! Lead a workshop and share your skills.
Drawing
Drawing can be intimidating to many! Help build technique and confidence in aspiring artists.
Creative Movement
Dance doesn't have to be formal or serious. Lead kids in the joy of dance and creative movement.

Retail Associate
Lead Shop Operations
The Retail Associate is a key team member who helps lead the daily operation of CURRENT. This is a hands-on position for someone who is confident in serving customers, takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and can keep the shop running smoothly without constant direction.
Hiring will take place when the right candidate is identified. This job posting will be removed at that time. If you still see this job posting, the job is still available.
The retail associate will be hired first so that the employee hired for this position may have involvement in the hiring process of the assistant retail associate.
Planned start date for both positions is early 2027 but could take place sooner if the right candidates are identified and hired.
Current does not have any full time positions available at this time. The two positions are part time.
Workshop leaders are needed on an ongoing basis. Please inquire if you are interested in leading a group of people in a skill share, social group, workshop, art class, or other community oriented experience.
