CURRENT Interactive Kids Space Policies

Creative play. Thoughtful care. A welcoming space for everyone.

Welcome to CURRENT! Our play space is designed to encourage imagination, exploration, and independent discovery. To help every family enjoy their visit, please review our policies before playing.

1. Adult Supervision

CURRENT is a family play space, not a drop-off service or childcare facility. A parent or responsible adult must remain on-site and actively supervise their child at all times.

Adults are responsible for knowing where their children are, helping them use the space appropriately, and stepping in when needed. Our team maintains the space and assists with general operations, but staff do not provide individual childcare or continuous supervision of each child.

Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout their visit.

2. Age Recommendations & Small Parts

Our play space is recommended for children ages 3 and older, with the best overall experience generally suited to ages 3–8.

Some play materials, toys, props, and decorative items may contain small parts or present choking hazards for younger children. Parents and caregivers must consider each child's age, developmental stage, and tendency to mouth objects before allowing participation.

Please keep younger siblings away from small items and supervise them closely at all times. If an item is not appropriate for your child, please help them choose a safer activity.

Please report missing, broken, or unsafe items to a CURRENT team member immediately.

3. Health & Wellness

We want CURRENT to be a healthy, welcoming place for all families. Please postpone your visit if your child or anyone in your group is ill or may be contagious.

Please do not enter the play space if a child has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that may indicate a contagious illness. As a general guideline, children should be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and free from vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours before returning. Follow any longer period recommended by a healthcare professional or public-health guidance.

Please also consider keeping children home when they are unusually unwell, have significant respiratory symptoms, or cannot comfortably participate in a shared environment.

CURRENT may ask a family to leave the play space if someone appears too ill to participate safely or presents a reasonable concern for the health of others. Please let us know if your child becomes ill during a visit.

4. Play Time & Additional Charges

Play sessions are purchased for a specific time period. Please keep track of your scheduled end time and allow enough time to gather your belongings and leave the play area.

If your family stays beyond its paid session, additional time will be charged, subject to availability. Additional time is not guaranteed and may be unavailable when another session is scheduled.

If you need more time, please check with a CURRENT team member before your session ends.

5. Siblings & Additional Children

Every child entering or using the play space must be included in the booking and paid for at the applicable rate, including siblings.

If an unpaid sibling or additional child begins using the play space, the accompanying adult must purchase the appropriate admission before play continues. If payment is not made, the child will be asked to leave the play area.

Please check in with a team member before allowing an additional child to participate. Capacity limits apply to all children using the space.

6. Caring for Our Space

We’ve created CURRENT to be a place where children can explore freely and families can feel at home. We invite everyone to help us care for it.

  • Please return toys, props, and materials to their usual places when you are finished.

  • Please help children clean up their play area before moving on or leaving.

  • Treat our playhouses, furnishings, toys, artwork, and other guests with care.

  • Please let us know if something spills, breaks, or needs attention.

A little tidying from everyone helps us keep the space inviting for the next family. Thank you for being part of our community.

7. Safe & Respectful Play

Please encourage children to use toys and play structures as intended, share space thoughtfully, and respect other children and families.

Running in crowded areas, throwing objects, rough play, climbing on furniture not designed for climbing, or behavior that creates a safety concern may result in a reminder or a request to pause or end play.

If a child repeatedly engages in unsafe behavior, a CURRENT team member may ask the accompanying adult to redirect the child or end the visit. We will approach these situations respectfully and with safety in mind.

8. Accidents, Damage & Concerns

Please tell a CURRENT team member immediately if a child is injured, an item breaks, or you notice a safety concern. We will respond appropriately and document incidents when needed.

Families are expected to use the space and its materials responsibly. Adults may be held responsible for damage caused by intentional or clearly unreasonable misuse, subject to applicable law.

Thank You for Being Here

Thank you for helping us make CURRENT a thoughtful, creative, and welcoming place for children and caregivers. We’re glad you’re part of it!

Events Fees & Policies

Birthday Parties & Private Events

We request all events are paid in full at the time of booking due to Current holding your reservation, lost revenue from closure, and potential cancellations. If you need assistance with payment, need to split payment, or make other arrangements, you will be asked to put a non-refundable deposit toward the event booking. The remaining balance would be due at least 1 week prior to the event date.

Please arrive and depart within your reserved time. Your reservation includes setup and cleanup time of 15 minutes. Additional time is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

Cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, final guest counts, food arrangements, decorations, and refund terms will be provided at booking. The booking adult is responsible for communicating CURRENT's safety and supervision policies to their guests.

Children attending an event must remain under the supervision of their parent, guardian, or designated responsible adult unless a separate, expressly agreed arrangement applies.

Workshops & Classes

Advance registration and payment may be required to reserve a place. Class capacity is limited.

Please arrive on time and follow any age, clothing, equipment, and participation instructions provided for the activity. A parent or guardian must remain with children unless the specific program is expressly designated and operated as a supervised drop-off program.

Cancellation, transfer, refund, and minimum-enrollment terms will be communicated at booking. If CURRENT cancels an activity, customers will be offered [a refund / a transfer / a choice].

Behavior & Right to Refuse or End Participation

CURRENT aims to maintain a welcoming, respectful environment. We may ask a customer to stop an activity or leave if behavior creates a safety concern, seriously disrupts other customers, damages property, or repeatedly violates posted policies.

Where appropriate, we will first explain the concern and offer an opportunity to correct it. Refunds for an ended visit will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Photography & Video

We respect the privacy of our families. Please ask permission before photographing or recording another child or family.

CURRENT may occasionally take photographs or videos for documentation or marketing. We will obtain any required parent or guardian consent before using an identifiable image of a child for promotional purposes. Families may tell us they do not wish to be included.

Personal Belongings

Please keep personal belongings with you during your visit. CURRENT is not responsible for lost or misplaced belongings except to the extent required by law. Please turn in found items to a team member.

Accessibility & Individual Needs

We want families to feel welcome at CURRENT. Please contact us before your visit if you have questions about access, sensory considerations, or the suitability of a particular activity. We will discuss reasonable options and available accommodations.

Emergencies & Incident Reporting

Please notify a team member immediately about an injury, emergency, missing child, damaged equipment, or other urgent safety concern. In an emergency, staff may contact emergency services as appropriate.

Parents and caregivers remain responsible for their children and should ensure CURRENT has an appropriate contact number when required for a booking.

Privacy & Customer Information

CURRENT collects only the customer information reasonably needed to process purchases, manage bookings, communicate with families, and operate the business. We will handle personal information in accordance with our posted Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Please review our Privacy Policy for information about website data, payment processing, marketing communications, cookies, and requests relating to personal information.
